"Monochrome Yellow" Audemars Piguet & Co., Genève, No. 46836. Made in the 1940s. Very fine and rare, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with oval button chronograph, registers, and tachometer, and an 18K yellow gold buckle.

Satiné gold with applied yellow gold conical indexes and Arabic numeral, outer minute and 1/5th seconds track, blue outermost tachometer scale graduated to 1000 units/hour. Subsidiary guilloché dials for the seconds, the 30-minute and 12-hour registers. Yellow gold "baton" hands. M. Cal. 13''', rhodium-plated, 21 jewels, straightline lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to 8 positions, blued steel Breguet balance spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 33 mm. Thickness 12 mm.
