Very fine and very rare, heavy, oversized, octagonal, self-winding, water-resistant, 18K pink gold and ceramic wristwatch with date, square button chronograph, registers, tachometer and an Audemars Piguet 18K pink gold deployant buckle. Accompanied by a certificate and user?s manual.

Three-body, polished and brushed, case back and bezel secured with eight hexagonal screws, ultra-resistant ? anti-shock? technical ceramics for the bezel, push-buttons and crown, side profile of the bezel mimicking the ventilations on a brake disc?s edges, screw-down crown inspired by a gear wheel and the push buttons inspired by brake cooling ducts, case back with special Rubens Barrichello logo, sapphire crystal. D. Matte silver and black with applied luminous baton indexes, outer fifths of a second divisions, outermost tachometer on a concave frosted silver reserve, the center pierced with mega tapisserie racing motif to reveal the movement, subsidiary dials for the seconds, the 12-hour and 30-minute registers, cyclops aperture for the date. Luminous pink gold baton hands. M. Cal. 2326/ 2840, rhodiumplated, fausses cotes decoration, 54 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring, 21K gold rotor. Made as a limited edition of 1,650 pieces in total, the special Royal Oak Offshore ?Rubens Barrichello? is designed to pay homage to the high-tech world of Formula 1 engineering and performance.
Three versions are available. 1) 950 platinum (150 pieces), 2) 18-carat pink gold (500 pieces), 3) grade 5 titanium (1000 pieces).
Rubens Barrichello Rubens Gonçalves Barrichello (b. May 23, 1972) is a Brazilian Formula One race driver, born in São Paulo. Barrichello, who shares his first name and birthday with his father, grew up idolizing the late Ayrton Senna. Senna, in turn, considered Barrichello to be his protégé. As of the 2008 Formula One season Barrichello is the only driver still competing in Formula One to have raced against Senna. He has scored the fifth greatest drivers' points total in the history of the Formula One. Between 2000 and 2005 Barrichello drove for Ferrari as a teammate of Michael Schumacher, and enjoyed great success. When Schumacher retired at the end of 2006, Barrichello became the most experienced driver on the grid. Barrichello and his wife Silvana have two sons, Eduardo (b. 2001) and Fernando (b. 2005). He supports the Brazilian football team the Corinthians.
