Made to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the birth of Jules Audemars in 2001. Very fine and rare, large, self-winding, water-resistant, platinum wristwatch with visible one-minute tourbillon regulator, calendar, 52-hour power-reserve indication and a platinum Audemars Piguet buckle. Accompanied by the Audemars Piguet fitted wooden box with winding carrousel, magnifying glass, certificate and booklet.
C. Three-body, solid, polished and brushed, inclined bezel, rounded band, straight lugs, transparent case back with six screws, engine-turned beneath with a sunray pattern and engraved ?Jules Audemars 150 Ans? and with the coat of arms of the Audemars family, button for hand-setting on the back, sapphire crystals. D. Brushed petrol-blue with luminous Arabic numerals and dots, subsidiary dials for the date calendar and power-reserve indication, aperture for the tourbillon regulator under a polished steel three-arm bridge at 6. Luminous white gold epee hands. M. Cal. 2875, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 30 jewels, lateral lever escapement with oneminute tourbillon regulator with titanium cage and 3 equidistant polished steel arms, monometallic balance adjusted to heat, cold and 5 positions, self-compensating flat balance spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 40 mm. Thickness 12 mm.
