A udemars Piguet ? Minute Repeating Bicolor Gold Audemars Piguet, No. 27961, retailed by E. Gubelin, Lucerne. Made circa 1920. Very fine, rare and very slim, 18K yellow and white gold minute-repeating keyless dress watch.
C. Three-body, bassine pincée, polished, yellow gold with white gold rims. D. Matte beige, applied yellow gold Arabic numerals, outer dot minute divisions, subsidiary seconds. Yellow gold feuille hands. M. 17 1/2''', rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 29 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with 7 adjustments, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator, repeating with two hammers on two gongs activated by a slide in the band. Dial signed Audemars Piguet, movement and case signed Gubelin. Diam. 44 mm.
