Very fine and rare, water-resistant, large, 18K pink gold, ceramic and forged carbon flyback chronograph wristwatch with central digital 10-minute count-down timer, 20-minute and 6-hour chronograph registers, on rubber strap with an 18K pink gold Audemars Piguet buckle. Accompanied by a special Team Alinghi presentation case, instruction booklet and certificate of authenticity.

Three-body, forged carbon bezel secured with 8 hexagonal screws, screwed-down winding crown, case back secured by 8 specially designed bolts with engraving of a racing boat and crew, curved ceramic chronograph pushers, sapphire crystal. D. Black, clous de Paris decoration, applied pink gold Arabic numerals, Alinghi logo at 3, 6-hour and 20-minute registers, aperture with Regatta 10-minute counter. Luminous black and pink gold skeleton baton hands. M. Cal. 2326/2848, rhodium-plated, oeil de perdrix decoration, 50 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, shock absorber, self-compensating fl at balance spring, 22K gold rotor. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim: 56 x 50 mm. Thickness: 14.5 mm.

The 2007 release of the Team Alignhi limited edition series was available in an edition of 1500 examples in carbon, 600 in pink gold and carbon and 107 in platinum and carbon. It was the fi rst time forged carbon had been used in the construction of a wristwatch and the last time Audemars Piguet would release a model associated with the sailing team Alinghi.
