Audemars Piguet, Le Brassus, "Répéti-tion Minutes - John Shaeffer Star Wheel". Produced in a limited edition of 25 examples in the 1990's. Extremely fine, rare and unusual, cushion-shaped, 18K pink gold, epicycloidal gentleman's wristwatch with mi-nute repea-ting and an 18K pink gold Audemars Piguet buckle.

C. three-body, solid, polished and brushed, transparent case back with screws, flat bezel, sapphire crystals. D. sand-finished matte silver, the hour graduations on three trans-lucent sapphire discs, each with four black painted stylized hour indicators; on top, sector indicating the 60 minutes in black painted Arabic numerals and indexes; at the center, an 18K pink gold wheel with three arms, carrying the spring-loaded rotating star wheel sapphire discs. M. Cal. 2867, rhodium-plated, "fausses-côtes" de-coration, 32 je-wels, straight line lever escapement, mono-metallic ba-lance adjusted to heat, cold and 5 positions, self-com-pensating flat balance-spring, repeating on gongs by activating slide on the band. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 34 x 34 mm.
