Audemars Piguet, Le Brassus, "Star Wheel Two Faces", No. 411086, Case No. E.29389, “Pièce Unique”. Produced in 2000 to mark the 125th anniversary of Audemars Piguet. Very fine and unique, 18K pink gold, diamond-set, double-face keyless dress watch with triple calendar. Accompanied by fitted box, original outer packaging, instruction manual and guarantee.
C. three-piece, polished, diamond set, transparent case back for viewing of the calendar, stepped bezels, front set with 230 (1.61 ct) brilliant-cut diamonds (E/F color IF clarity), sapphire crystals, crown and bow set with onyx cabochons. D. Front: Black enamel, guilloché radial Roman chapters, outer minute track with diamond set five minutes, sunk subsidiary seconds. Pink gold “Cathedral” hands. Back: Skeletonized with three epicyclic revolving sapphire disks, each with four black painted month indicators, on top a silver sector indicating the date in painted Arabic numerals and indexes, at the center, a rhodium-plated wheel with three arms, carrying the spring-loaded rotating star wheel sapphire discs. M. Cal.5026/2813, rhodium-plated, "fausses-côtes" decoration, 26 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted for heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, “Kif” shock-absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring, micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 50 mm.
