Notes

Engraved on the back of the watch: 'This is thefirst calendar wristwatch ever made by us and Ibelieve it to be the only one in existance.' E.Gübelin, Lucerne 1924, Switzerland. Our research indicates that the inscription on theback of the watch is absolutely true. Indeed, nowatches with triple date indication and moonphases, of these small dimensions, are known tohave existed before this one, making this watchextremely rare and unusual.
