Audemars Piguet, Genève, "Edward Piguet Tourbillon", case No. E 67936, Ref. 25956PT. Produced circa 2000. Very fine and very rare, rectangular, platinum gentleman's wristwatch with visible one-minute tourbillon regulator and a platinum Audemars Piguet deployant clasp. Accompanied by a fitted box and certificate.
C. Two-body, solid, polished and brushed, stepped bezel, transparent case back with 4 screws, sapphire crystals. D. Special "guilloché" salmon with applied white gold Breguet numerals and indexes, at 6aperture for the visible tourbillon cage under a polished steel bridge. White gold "feuille" hands. M. Cal. 2881, rhodium plated, "fausses-côtes" decoration, 19 jewels, lateral lever escapement with one-minute tourbillon regulator with steel cage and three equidistant polished steel arms, monometallic balance adjusted to heat, cold and 5 positions, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring.Dial and movement signed, case numbered.Dim. 29 x 49 mm.For a note on Audemars Piguet, see lot 333.
