Audemars Piguet, Geneve, No. 53978, Ref. 1111, made in 1956. Very fine and rare, 18K yellow, white gold and sapphire gentleman's wristwatch.

C. two body, bi-colour, massive, polished, satine, white gold bezel set with baguette sapphires for the hours, yellow gold case. D. satine silver with painted indexes, auxiliary seconds dial. "Baton" yellow gold hands. M. 9 1/2 "' rhodium plated, "fausses cotes" decoration, 18 jewels, lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to temperatures and 4 positions, selfcompensating Breguet balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 29 mm.
