AUDEMARS PIGUET CHRONOGRAPH YELLOW GOLD Audemars Piguet, Geneva, Retailed by Gobbi, Milan, Chronograph, No. 44618, Ref. 143. Made in the 1940s. Very fine and rare, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with square button chronograph, register, tachometer and an 18K yellow gold Audemars Piguet buckle. Accompanied by an Audemars Piguet box.

Three-body, solid, polished and brushed, inclined bezel, concave lugs, snap-on case back. Champagne with applied yellow gold baton indexes and printed Arabic numerals, subsidiary dials for the seconds and the 30 minute register, outer minute and 1/5th seconds track, outermost tachometer scale. Yellow gold epee hands. Cal. 13''', rhodium-plated, 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating blued Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
