The perpetual calendar is considered the most fascinating and important complication among Royal Oak collections.
This iconic timepiece does not show the leap year indicator, being part of the third series of Perpetual Calendar Royal Oak produced by the Brand. For instance, only 272 examples in steel are manufactured, making it a rare and collectable wristwatch. What makes this example even more special is the dial, which deserves to be the star of the scene. Perhaps unique, it maintains the well known tapisserie texture featuring an iridescent blue color defined by Audemars Piguet, within the “Certificate d’Authenticité”, as “Laqué” reported in the reference within code n. 06. The dial even features long indexes which makes it even more special.
