Notes

Designed by Emmanuel Gueit, as a more modern version of the design by Gerald Genta, the Royal Oak offshore was launched in 1993, featuring a more robust case that received a mixed response at first.
The first series were D serials (such as this example) and their dials often aged to various colours of brown due to the brass coming through the dial and the first series of deployant clasp.
These first series have now become sought after, as it has been reflected by their constant price increase at auction.
