Notes

Introduced in the late 1990s, the Royal Oak Chronograph Ref. 25860ST quickly earned the nickname “Kasparov” after the legendary chess grandmaster Garry Kasparov, who famously wore this model during tournaments, immortalizing it as one of the most recognizable and collectible modern Offshore, yet firmly rooted in the classic Royal Oak design language.

The present example features the emblematic octagonal bezel with exposed screws, contrasted by a deep black Grande Tapisserie dial hosting three well-balanced registers and a discreet date aperture. The integrated stainless steel bracelet, with its signature satin-brushed and polished facets, enhances the architectural elegance that has defined the Royal Oak since 1972.

Powered by a robust self-winding chronograph movement, the 25860ST “Kasparov” stands as an icon of contemporary haute horlogerie, a perfect union of sportiness, technical mastery, and unmistakable Gerald Genta design heritage.
