Very fine and rare, rectangular, skeletonized, platinum gentleman's wristwatch with visible one-minute tourbillon regulator and a platinum Audemars Piguet deployant clasp. Accompanied by the large wooden presentation box, CD-Rom and photocopy of technical information.

Two-body, solid, polished and brushed, stepped bezel and lugs, transparent case back with 4 screws, sapphire crystals. Transparent with white gold painted red baton indexes applied to a quartz plate with rutile inclusions, at 6 aperture for the visible tourbillon cage under a polished steel bridge, carrying the subsidiary seconds hand. Red painted white gold "feuille" hands. Cal. 2888, skeletonized, bridges decorated with special AP pattern, rhodium-plated, 19 jewels, lateral lever escapement with oneminute tourbillon regulator with steel cage and 3 equidistant polished steel arms, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance spring.

Property of the original owner The Edward Piguet tourbillon first series was made in an extremely small series between about 2002 to 2005. The process of cutting the rutilated quartz plate is extremely difficult and the small golden-like inclusions in the quartz are unique to each stone. This difficult process has resulted that less than 5 pieces were made per year. This model was further personalized by the owner who specifically requested that the hands and indexes were painted red to increase readability. To be sold without reserve
