Notes

Property of the original Spanish Family.
Consigned from the original Spanish family, these perpetual calendar pocket watches are extremely rare. In fact so rare, that the watch bearing the movement number 48’800, one number apart from this example was sold by us in November 2020, lot 460. It is also interesting to note that despite being so close, the sale date is separated by more than 15 years showing how small the production was.
Kept in very good condition, the slim case features a recessed bow to discretely integrate the correctors and an elegant bezel featuring enamelled roman numeral indexes all still present, a clear indication of its overall superb condition.
For a similar example, see Audemars Piguet by Brunner, Pfeiffer Belli, Wehrli page 135.
