Caliber 47 mm., gilt Lépine calibre movement with standing barrel and special escapement. The escape wheel features an unusual double set of teeth: the long, sun-ray–shaped teeth provide the impulse to the balance wheel, while the small, upright teeth on the rim lock the movement in place. The impulse pallet, a tiny ruby mounted at the centre of the balance staff, is struck by the long teeth of the escape wheel to maintain the watch’s motion. Plain three-arm steel balance with blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator with bimetallic temperature-compensation curb. All-or-nothing repeating mechanism with two hammers striking on the side of the case, activated by depressing the pendant.
Diameter 54 mm.
