BARRAUD & LUNDS MINUTE REPEATER GOLD Barraud & Lunds, 12 Bishopsgate Within London, No. 3/5035. Made circa 1907. Fine and rare, 18K gold half-hunting cased keyless minute repeating pocket watch.

Four body, solid, "bassine et filets," by Joseph Walton (Master mark), polished with black enameled Roman numerals around the port hole, the back engraved with the coat of arm of Bevan of Fosbury, Wilts and Trent Park, with the motto: Deus Proesidium, gold bow. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel double spade hands. 18"' , frosted and gilt, three-quarter plate with raised going barrel, 15 jewels in screwed settings for the going train, pointed tooth lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance with gold timing screws, free sprung Breguet balance spring, ruby end-stone. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band.
