The Fifty Fathoms is a signature collection of Blancpain. It was created by Blancpain’s CEO Jean-Jacques Fiechter who was an avid diver himself. He truly knows the lightness and waterproof needs of diving. The watch was objectively built to meet the demanding needs of military divers. It featured a water-resistant case, a unidirectional bezel for tracking dive times, and radium-lumed hands and markers for underwater legibility. The Fifty Fathoms also represents to Blancpain’s commitment to ocean conservation.
This special edition of the Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe, produced in 50 pieces, was created for a Singapore watch retailer Cortina Watch’s 50th anniversary in 2022.
