Notes

Robert Marcel Frédéric Louis Maloubier or Bob Maloubier, born in 1923 and died in 2015, was an emblematic figure of the French Resistance and the secret services. An agent of the British Special Operations Executive (SOE) during the Second World War, he led numerous sabotage and secret service missions in occupied France. After the war, he played a key role in the creation of the French navy's famous combat swimmer units. A watchmaking enthusiast, Maloubier collaborated with Blancpain to design the legendary Fifty Fathoms diver's watch. His career has made him a source of inspiration for future generations.
