Gilded brass, key-winding, vertical rectangular-shape, eight-day going, carriage-clock, made for the Chinese market, with three horological complications:
· Hour and half hour striking on one bell
· Hour-repeater on the same bell (activated by depressing the button on top of the cabinet)
· Alarm on the same bell via a small hammer (subsidiary dial at 6 o’clock)

“One piece” case engraved in taille-douce (fine cut) with floral decor; the top with glazed aperture to view the escapement.

White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals; each corners with a bird-of-paradise decor; blued steel “Breguet” hands, equilibrated centre-seconds hand.

Movement, 100 x 75 mm. (ebauche No. 409 LM), two going barrels, plat-form escapement, engraved in taille-douce (fine cut) with foliage, with lateral equilibrated lever escapement, uncut bimetallic compensated balance with gold poising screws and blued steel flat hairspring, polished steel index-regulator.
