18K yellow gold and enamel, half hunting-case, keyless-winding, round-shaped, pre-Art Deco pocket watch, with hinged case-back and subsidiary seconds at 9. Cover and case-back with guilloché engine-turned enamelled decoration, white, blue and green translucent colours, with chiselled twelve roses. Cuvette engraved in taille-douce (fine cut) with the mention "A Monsieur F. COLLIN / Sincères Remerciements / Pour Vos Bonnes Leçons / Votre Elève / BASILE PROKHOROFF / Moscou 1911".
