An extremely fine and rare, large, heavy 18k gold, manual wind half-hunting cased, Key-wound Clockwatch. Three-train Grande and Petite Sonnerie striking with independent slide-activated minute repeating, employing a total of four gongs and four hammers—two for the striking and two for the repeating functions. The polished case, bearing the master mark “EM”, features a hinged and sprung front cover with radial royal-blue champlevé enamel Roman numerals and inner minute divisions surrounding a glazed aperture. The back cover is decorated with a royal-blue champlevé enamel mirrored monogram “LL” within foliate scrolls. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and red Arabic five-minute numerals, subsidiary seconds at 9 o’clock with red Arabic ten-minute numerals. Blued-steel double spade hands.
