BOVET SPORTSTER 40MM CHRONOGRAPH PINK GOLD Bovet Fleurier S.A., Genève, "Sportster 40mm", case No. 008256, Ref. C 805. Made in the 2000's. Fine and unusual, asymmetric, self-winding, water- resistant, 18K pink gold wristwatch, round button chronograph, registers, large date and an 18K pink gold Bovet buckle. Accompanied by fitted box and instruction manual.

Three-body, polished, rounded polished band, polished inclined bezel, asymmetric Vendome-type lugs with screwed bars at 6, extended mobile geometrical-shaped pendant and winding crown at 12, screwed-down transparent case back, square chronograph buttons at 11 and 1, sapphire crystals. Black with printed gold radial Arabic numerals for the hours, luminous dot indexes at 12, 3, 6, and 9, subsidiary sunk dials for the seconds, 12-hour and 30-minute registers, tachometer scale, printed pulsation scale on inner bezel, double aperture for the date at 12 with Arabic numerals. Pink gold skeletonized baton hour and minute hands with luminous tips and serpentine chronograph hand. Cal. 13BA01, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes, 28 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions, shock-absorber, self-compensating flat balance-spring, 22K gold rotor.
