This unique series of 10 Fleurier pairs of wristwatches, numbered and dated, is specially made by Bovet for this historical event. The dials of this limited series of wristwatches are exclusive to these pieces only and will never be reproduced in any Bovet watch. Bovet has always stepped aside from the mainstream of watch styling to create every watch as if it were newly created. The result is a watch like no other. Unconventional without being eccentric, original, yet perfectly logical. In the Fleurier model, Bovet adapts a 19th century pocket-watch to the wrist in a demonstration of creative design. The sculpted bow recalls an earlier Bovet style. The bolt fastenings, three-piece bassine-style case and knurled crown display the talent of Switzerland's top casemakers. The watch, unique with the winding-crown at 12 o'clock, owes its name to the village of Fleurier in the Swiss Jtua, cradle of the firm and birthplace of Edouard Bovet, company founder in 1822.
