This spectacular Bovet Récital 22 Grand Récital, presented with its complete original box and papers, stands as one of the most imaginative and technically audacious creations from the house. Strictly limited to only 60 movements across all materials, this platinum example (number 26 of 60) is a genuine rarity that rarely surfaces for collectors. Launched in 2018 and conceived under Pascal Raffy, it masterfully captures the eternal dance of the Sun, Earth, and Moon in wristwatch form.

Housed in Bovet’s signature asymmetrical 46.3 mm “writing slope” platinum case, the hand-wound in-house Calibre 17DM03-TEL (with over 470 components and a genuine nine-day power reserve from a single barrel) delivers an unforgettable spectacle. On the front, a captivating tellurium-orrery takes center stage: a hand-painted hemispherical Earth globe rotates once every 24 hours to indicate world time, accompanied by a three-dimensional spherical moonphase and the Sun embodied by a patented double-sided flying tourbillon with visible seconds. Retrograde minutes and a power-reserve display further enrich the celestial view.

The reverse side reveals the watch’s ingenious double-sided nature, featuring a complete retrograde perpetual calendar with day, month, leap-year indication, and a patented double-sided retrograde date system. Five patents protect key innovations throughout this movement, which demands more than 44 hours of meticulous hand-assembly by Bovet’s finest watchmakers.

A true horological artwork blending extreme mechanical complexity, poetic astronomy, and refined artistry, this full set piece offers a rare and outstanding opportunity to own a modern masterpiece of independent watchmaking.
