18K yellow gold, open-face, key-winding, round-shaped, pocket watch, with special escapement, jump-hour hand and one horological complication:
· Quarter-repeater (‘all-or-nothing’-type) by one hammer on one steel gong (activated by a pull-and-twist piston in the pendant)

Four-piece case “forme quatre baguettes” withguilloché (engine-turned) case-back and case-band. hinged gold cuvette (dome).

Silver guilloché (engine-turned) dial with radial Roman numerals; blued steel Breguet hands.

23’’’, gilded brass, going barrel, overhanging ruby-set cylinder escapement, monometallic balance with three arms (gilded brass) and blued steel flat hairspring, blued steel and polished steel index-regulator with temperature compensating bimetallic curb fitted to the index regulator, top pivot with parachute.

The Breguet Archives mention that this watch was sold to Robert Knight, on August 29, 1829, for the amount of 2 400 Francs. Originally the watch was accompanied by the Certificate No. 1 230.

The watch is made by Breguet on an older ébauche dating from the early 19th century and bearing the No. 200.
