Fine 18K gold, quarter repeating watch with jumping hour and calendar, construite sur le principe des Garde Temps.
C. Two body, "forme quatre baguettes", by Tavernier No. 3521, the back, engine-turned " a grains d 'orge" and centred with the coat-of-arms of D.M. Narischkin, is attached by a bayonet fixing. D. Eccentric, silver engine-turned with Roman numerals on a polished chapter ring and off-set sunk subsidiary seconds, small sector apertures for the calendar and slow/fast regulator position. Gold Breguet hands. The gold dial rim engraved: "Par Breguet pour S. E. le Grand Veneur D. M. Narischkin en 1817". M. 18" ', gilt brass, bar calibre, the going barrel with arbre perce, counterpoised straight line lever escapement with draw, jewelled pallets and long lever, two-arm bimetallic compensation balance, the adjustable screws inset in the rim with pare-chute suspension on both pivots, blued-steel flat balance spring with terminal curve. Repeating on a single gong with one hammer striking on a steel intermediate spring block. Signed on the dial. Accompanied by Breguet certificate No. 2554. Diam. 48 mm.
