Notes

Note: This watch, among other features, is exceptional for his dial with Slavonic numerals, a language which, already in the time of Breguet, had not been used for a century but favoured by the Russian Aristocraty as it was still the religious language. Very few examples of Breguet watches with a Slavonic dial are known to exist, another one is described and illustrated by Emmanuel Breguet in his book: Breguet - Horloger depicts 1775 (Alain de Gourcuff Editeur - Paris 1997), pp. 210-211.
