Breguet No. 1963,sold to Mr. Jean Brenot, in 1928, for 4000 Francs. Extremely fine, early, and probably unique, large, tonneau-shaped, 18K yellow gold and stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with coaxial single button chronograph on the winding-crown, register and tachometer.

C. bicoloured, shaped, massive, polished, satined, lapidated lugs, stainless steel bezel, screwed bars. D. matt silver with painted Arabic numerals + auxiliary seconds and 30 minutes register dials, at the centre, spiral tachometric scale. "Moderne" blued steel hands. M. 15 - rhodium plated, 23 jewels, lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance Breguet balancespring, the coaxial single button on the windingcrown. is for start-stop and return to zero functions of the chronograph. Dial and case signed, numbered on the dial and case. Dim. 37 x 47 mm.

Note: This watch is very rare because of the shape of its case and the very special iconography of the tachometric scale on the dial. The price of 4000 Francs paid at the time for a wristwatch is enormous, considering the period of crisis in the international financial markets.
