?Monsieur Ledoyen? Breguet, No. 340, sold to Monsieur Ledoyen on 13 Thermidor an 6 (August 2, 1799) for 840 francs. Fine, large, 18K gold, experimental montre de souscription pocket watch.
C. Later custom made, three-body, "forme collier", polished. D. White enamel "souscription" type, Breguet numerals and outer five-minute divisions, secret signature below XII o'clock. Blued steel souscription hand with tapered point. M. 56 mm. (23'''), gilt brass, souscription calibre with curved bridges, center standing barrel, overhanging ruby cylinder escapement, gilt brass three-arm balance, bimetallic compensation curb attached to the index regulator, winding from the front only. Dial and movement signed. Diam. 61 mm.
