?Retrograde Perpétuel? Breguet, Swiss, No. 5473/1434. Made for the Islamic market circa 1870. Very fine and extremely rare 18K gold keyless, astronomical, huntingcased pocket watch with retrograde perpetual calendar and phases of the moon.

White enamel, radial Islamic numerals, outer minute divisions with five-minute Islamic markers, retrograde date sector with Islamic numerals set at the top, phases of the moon aperture at 12, days of the week aperure at 6, month dial at 7, subsidiary sunk seconds at 5. Gold ?spade? hands. M. 19''', frosted gilt metal, 18 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring.
