Breguet & Fils, No. 1472, sold to Mr. Foussadier on 5 September 1806 for 2000 Francs. Very fine 18 ct. gold, quarter dumb repeating watch with jumping hour and off-set seconds.

C. four body "forme collier" by Joly, No. 1189, with reeded band, the back engine-turned a grains d'orge". Hinged gold cuvette. D. gold engine-turned with Roman numerals on a polished chapter ring and offset subsidiary seconds. Secret signatures on each sides of chapter 1 7 XII. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 22"', gilt brass, first class calibre with going barrel, over hanging Breguet ruby cylinder escapement, plain brass balance with parachute suspension, flat balance spring with bimetallic compensation curb on the index. Quarter repeating with pull-twist piston through the pendant and single massive polished steel hammer. Signed on the dial and cuvette. In very good condition with certificate. Diam. 55 mm.
