?Grande and Petite Sonnerie? Breguet, Paris, No. 3569, sold to Baron de Heeckeren for 700 francs on February 3, 1881. Fine and rare, gilt and silvered brass, 8-day going, grande and petite sonnerie striking carriage clock with quarter repeat and alarm.

Multi-piece, ?Anglaise?, broken-arch top with curved beveled glass viewing aperture, four turned silvered finials, hinged carrying handle, molded and reeded cornice above four fluted silvered columns, reeded and stepped base, the sides and back door with beveled glass. D. Circular white enamel, raised speckled cartouches with painted radial Roman numerals, gold dot five minute markers and painted minute markers, Royal blue border, alarm dial below with matching decoration, frosted gilt brass dial mask. Blued steel ?fleur-de-lys? hands. M. 10 x 7 cm., rectangular plates, gilt brass, four pillars, spring barrels for the going and striking trains, separate alarm train, large silvered platform with lateral lever escapement, bimetallic compensation balance with timing adjustment screws, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator, striking and repeating with two hammers on two gongs, additional hammer for the alarm, strike selection/silence lever on the base. Dim. 21.5 cm. high, including handle.
