Breguet No. 40074, sold to Mademoiselle de Valckiers on 16 May 1823 for 2.200 Francs, bought back and resold to Dubois, Horloger à la Havane on 7 September 1835, for 2.000 francs. Fine small 18 ct. gold and platinum, quarter repeating watch.

C. Four body, "forme quatre baguettes" No. 104, by Joly (Master marks) with platinum engineturned band, bezel and back of polished gold. Hinged gold cuvette. D. Silver engine-turned with Roman numerals on a polished chapter ring. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 17"', gilt brass with free standing barrel, over hanging ruby cylinder, plain gilt brass three-arm balance with parachute suspension, flat balance spring with bimetallic compensation curb. Repeating on gongs by twistand- push plunger in pendant. Signed on the dial and cuvette. In very good condition. Diam. 44 mm.
