Breguet à Paris, Swiss, circa 1790. Extremely fine 18 ct. gold and enamel paste-set large pendant watch designed as an urn with matching chatelaine, in original red leather fitted box.

Double body with paste-set bezel and blue champlevé enamelled decoration, chased with false diamonds and false sapphire cabochons, the enamel back painted with a charming scene depicting a loving couple in a park within an oval paste set frame, over a blue enamel ground with rectangular "paillonné" border decoration. Matching chatelaine, decorated en suite, with an oval enamel panel painted with a maiden walking in a park with her dog running after a dove. D. White enamel with Roman numerals. Pierced paste-set Louis XVI hands. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate with conical pillars, fusee with chain, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock with polished steel endpiece. Signed on the dial and back plate. In very good condition. Dim. 100 x 50 min.
