Breguet No. 1854, produced in 1873, sold to Mrs. Ardant on 31 December 1873, for 300 Francs. Fine gilt bronze, eight day going, hour and hall hour striking, hour repeating carriage dock with alarm. In original fitted travelling box.

C. Gilt bronze "Gorge", glazed on five sides. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, red outer minute ring and subsidiary alarm setting chapter. Secret signature below "XII". Blued steel "pear" hands. M. Brass rectangular with going barrels both on the going and the striking train, platform escapement with straight line lever escapement, bimetallic balance, blued steel flat balance spring and regulator. Striking, repeating and alarm on gongs with button on the top. Signed on the dial and movement. In very good condition. Dim. 13 x 8 x 7 cm., excluding the handle.
