C. Three body mahogany deck-watch type box. Brass bowl with screwed bezel. D. Frosted and silvered with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and up-and-down scale. Gilt brass " spade" bands. M. Brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, the barrel passing through the back plate, and secured by a bridge, Earnshaw type spring detent escapement, twoarm compensation balance with cylindrical weights and timing screws, free sprung polished steel helical balance spring with terminal curves, diamond end-stone. Signed on the dial. In very good condition. Dial diam. 70 mm.
