Breguet & Fils, No. 14705, Swiss, certainly made by Decombaz, circa 1820. Fine 18 ct. gold, minute repeating, hour and quarter striking clock-watch.

C. Three body, Empire with reeded band, the back engraved with a rosette, centred with a stl, a figure of Chronos chased on the border with other symbols. Hinged gilt brass cuvette. D. Gold with Roman numerals on a polished chapter, the centre chased with foliage and a garland of flowers against amati ground. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. Gilt brass full plate double train with cylindrical pillars, going barrel both on the going and the striking trains, cylinder escapement, plain gold three-arm balance, flat balance spring with regulator. Quarter striking on gongs. Minute repeating on gong, by depressing the pendant with an independent train. Signed on the dial and cuvette. In vert' good condition. Diam. 58 mm.
