C. Double body mahogany, the movement is set on a fixed black dial plate. D. Mat silver with Breguet numerals and offset subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 22"', rhodium plated, 19 jewels, straight line lever escapement, brass-invar Guillaume balance, Breguet balance spring. Amagnetic dust-cap. Signed on the dial and movement. In very good condition. Dial diam. 55 mm.

Such board chronometers were usually sold mounted in insulated metallic boxes. This instrument was certainly mounted by Air France into the actual fine mahogany box of deck-watch type, in order to be used by an executive officer of Air France as a deskwatch.
