Breguet et Fils No. 2158, sold to M. le Comte de Koschouby on 20 March 1809, for 2500 Francs. Very fine 18 ct. gold hunting cased,dumb quarter-repeating watch.

C. Three body, "forme quatre baguettes", by Joly No. 1536, engine-turned with fluted band, a small champleve enamel "C" below an Imperial crown on the cover, esoteric symbols on the back. Gold cuvette secured by a screw. D. Gold engineturned with Roman numerals on a polished chapter ring, small sunk subsidiary offset seconds, double secret signature on either side of "XII". Blued-steel Breguet hands. M. 19"', gilt brass, bar calibre, 12 jewels, overhanging ruby cylinder escapement, plain brass three-arm balance with ""parachute" suspension at the top pivot, flat balance spring. Repeating on the case with a single polished steel hammer, pull-twist piston in the pendant. Signed on the dial and cuvette. In excellent condition. Diam. 50 mm.
