C. Three body mahogany deck-watch type box. Brass bowl with screwed bezel. D. Frosted and silvered with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and up-and-down scale, marked: Serz'ices maritimes des Messageries Impériales. Silvered " spade" hands. M. Polished brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, the barrel passing through the back plate, and secured by a bridge, detent escapement, two-arm compensation balance with cylindrical weights and timing screws, free-sprung helical spring with terminal curves. Signed on the dial. In good condition.
