C. Four body, Empire, with reeded band, blue enamelled bezels with paillonne decoration, the back enamelled with a portrait of the Emperor Napoleon, painted by Fr. Kruger, framed by an engraved laurel garland on a white champleve ground. Gold hinged cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 21-, gilt brass, double train movement, with free standing barrel, inverted cylinder escapement, plain brass three armed balance, flat balance spring. Musical train with pinned cylinder and steel vibrating blades. Repeating on gongs, with visible work, by depressing the pendant. Signed on the cuvette. In good condition. Diam. 58mm.
