Fatton, élève de Breguet, circa 1840. Very fine gilt brass, moon phase, astronomical carriage clock with alarm, thermometer, power reserve indication and special escapement.

C. Glazed, giIt bronze, with four fluted flat columns, the top finely engraved with scrolls of foliage and flowers. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel Breguet hands. GiIt brass dial plate, decorated with engravings matching that of the top, apertures for day, date and moon- phase, sectors for thermometer and up-and-down scale. M. GiIt brass, with a large going barrel, duplex escapement with cut bimetallic balance, blued steel flat balance spring. ' Pull wound alarm on a bell, set by means of a button on the top. Signed on the dial plate. In very good condition. Dim. 12 x 9 x 6 cm.
