Four-body, 'demi-bassine', entirely decorated in champlevé enamel, back representing a map of France in green enamel, with the English channel, the Mediterranean Sea, and the Atlantic Ocean in white enamel, the city names written with paillons, bezels, the pendant and bow in black enamel with gold floral decoration, gold hinged cuvette. D. Silver, engine-turned, Roman chapters and outer minute divisions on plain ring, sunk subsidiary seconds dial. Gold 'snake' hands. M. 49.6 mm o, gilt brassridge calibre with standing barrel, 6 jewels, cylinder escapement, plain three-arm gold balance, blued-steel flat balance spring.Signed on the case and dial, pendant stamped with the Paris gold mark used between 1819 and 1838.Diam. 57 mm.
