Small quarter repeating watch with eccentric seconds. In a Brazilian rose rosewood fitted box. Later silver, specially made, four body polished case, forme quatre baguettes. Plain silver hinged cuvette. Silver engine-turned dial with Roman numerals and eccentric subsidiary seconds (later?). Fine gilt brass movement,best caliber, used by Breguet for the Repetitions de première ccclasse, overhanging ruby cylinder escapement, plain gold three armed balance with parachute suspension. Repeating with a single hammer. Diam. 45 mm.

Good example of the small Breguet Repetition de première classe, caliber. Breguet was using different types of caliber for his repeating watches. The best, for the Répétitions de première classe, was fully jewelled, with overhanging ruby cylinder, the balance was with parachute suspension.
