Notes

In this remarkable wristwatch, inspired by Abraham-Louis Breguet?s ?souscription? watches of circa 1795, Nicolas G. Hayek and the designers of the Breguet firm had the courage and vision to adapt the characteristics of Breguet?s original watch - going so far as to reproduce the elastic suspension of the balance and the movement design -- to the requirements of a modern wristwatch, with the added feature of the power reserve.
