Breguet No. 4273, Swiss, circa 1890. Fine 18ct. pink gold hunting-cased, minuterepeating keyless moon-phase astronomical watch with perpetual calendar and chronograph.
C. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets carrure plate" polished. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute and chronograph rings, subsidiary dials for days of the week, months with leap year cycle, date and seconds with inner moon phase and age aperture (very small hair cracks). Gold "spade" hands. M. 18?, frosted and gilt, 29 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Signed on the cuvette. In good condition. Diam. 52 mm.
