C. Three-body, both covers engine-turned, back with gold tact arrow hand, gold touch knobs on the band, gilt cuvette with apertures for dial, winding, setting and regulating. D. Small, set in the aperture of the cuvette, white enamel, Breguet numerals, outer minute divisions. Blued steel index hands. M. 38 mm (17'''), gilt brass, center barrel in the souscription style, cylinder escapement, three-arm plain brass balance, flat balance spring, escapement jeweled.Signed on the cuvette, case stamped with the Paris 18K gold guarantee mark used between 1817 and 1838, pendant stamped with the French gold mark used between 1821 and 1838Diam. 45 mm.

Notes

Although not made by Breguet (Breguet's 1249 was made about 20 years earlier), the watch is very well made. It is an excellent example of a watch made to imitate Breguet's work.
