Breguet No 4015, Swiss, circa 1810. Unusual and fine 18 ct. gold reproduction of a Breguet " Souscription" watch. GiIt brass cuvette.
Three body massive "forme collier" polished case. White enamel "souscription" type dial with Arabic numerals and the special divisions enabling to read hours and minutes with a single hand. Blued steel "lance" souscription single hand. GiIt brass "souscription" type movement with the going barrel at the center, cylinder escapement with a plain brass three armed balance. Signed on the cuvette. In very good condition. Diam. 58 mm. This is a fine example of a watch showing the influence of Breguet on the watchmakers of his time.
